A Catchy Character

I didn't know how the main character should be. Bubbly and brave? Clumsy and funny? I decided on sensible and helpful.

But if all the Freeman girls were sensible, it could get a little boring. So each girl has different characteristics.

Emily, of course, is helpful and sensible. She is industrious and a hard worker. Being the oldest sibling, she is organized and a good leader.

Sophie is pleasant and dreamy. She is an amiable friend, but sometimes gets carried away in her own world. She is imaginative and creative, and  comes up with a cure for any problem.

Nora is down-to-earth and a nature lover. She is shy and gentle, and any animal from the elephant at the zoo to the ants in the woods love her.

Harper is outgoing and courageous. She loves music and sports, and is always making jokes, (that sometimes only she laughs at.)

Clara is the littlest girl, and normally tagging along behind her older sisters. She likes blocks and painting, and her "prized possession" is her doll, Smiley.

I think it is interesting for readers how each girl finds herself in a similar situation, but each one handles it differently.
